This is a script that wrote by Dr. ZZ. One day, Dr. ZZ had an appointment with his two students and they met at 东直门饭馆 Dōng zhí mén fànguǎn in China.
The following is the dialogue:
东直门饭馆 Dōng zhí mén fànguǎn (Expanded version)

马(waiter)：欢迎光临。请问几位？ |
|
众（all)：我们三个人。 |
|
马：请跟我来。 |
|
（在一饭桌旁，三个人坐下来） |
|
马：请问想喝什么？ |
|
甲：我喝水。不要放冰。（放冰Fàng bīng = put ice） |
|
乙：我也要水，带冰的。（带冰Dài bīng = with ice） |
|
丙：请问有咖啡吗？ |
|
马：有。请问放糖吗？（糖Táng = sugar） |
|
丙：少放一点儿糖就行。（就行Jiùxíng = will be ok） |
|
马：好的，这是菜单，你们先看看，我稍等就来。 |
|
丙：咱们点什么菜呢？（看着甲） |
|
甲：我看咱们每人点一个菜，然后点一个汤。 |
|
乙：只点菜不行。还得三碗米饭。 |
|
丙：好的。我想吃家常豆腐。这个最便宜。（最zuì = most） |
|
乙：我想吃红烧牛肉。（看着甲）你呢？ |
|
甲：我要个糖醋鱼吧。看起来不错，也不贵。 |
|
丙：三个菜够吗？我今天很饿。 |
|
乙：够了。还有米饭和汤呢。 |
|
马：请问你们想好要点什么菜吗？ |
|
丙：一个家常豆腐，一个红烧牛肉、一个糖醋鱼。 |
|
马：(写菜单) 家常豆腐、红烧牛肉、糖醋鱼。就这些？ |
|
甲：还有一个汤。 |
|
马：我们有四种不同的汤，请问你们想要哪一种？ （种zhǒng = kind） |
|
乙：酸辣汤吧。 |
|
马：好的。一个酸辣汤。 |
|
乙：还有三碗米饭。 |
|
马：好的。请先用茶。 |
|
丙：不好意思，请问这是什么茶？ |
|
马：这是茉莉花茶。（茉莉花Mòlìhuā = jasmine） |
|
众：谢谢。 |
culture - always share your fool
In China and Taiwan, we usually share our food with our families or friends. Thus, when you make a order in the restaurant, you have to ask other's opinion and try to make a balance of it.
Taiwanese people love to take a photo before eat, so that you gave to wait for a while.
